Nate is an unrecognized cartographic boffin and is the author of unpopular closed source Mac apps in two languages (Objective-C and…C). His libraries have been abandoned to Google Code’s labyrinth since he can never figure out how to actually log in to that stupid site. He recently has never been to Belgium ever.
In addition to driving to and from &yet, he sits at the computer or on the couch and reads a lot, instead of working on the project ideas that haunt him when he tries to sleep but realizes that he is halfway through his twenty-fifth year of life and still hasn’t accomplished a quarter of what he’d like to do and probably is already actually even more than a quarter through his life expectancy because the New York Times health blog says there’s a study that people who sit around a lot die young even if they have gym memberships and he doesn’t even go for a walk once a week hardly anymore so what does that mean for the prognosis and how will I have time to not sit at the computer and still get all the computery things done without sitting at the computer and doing low metabolic equivalent computer things sitting there?
Nate programs in a broad number of different languages and is experienced with shipping small, in-progress products. He is also the founder of Calf Trail Software, which had a nice comment from a customer on a blog post once.
